My Love Morphology
Hello .. hello ... broth and sista! , come back again with me Anjely Simbolon cute, now we still with Morphology . that's my photo when presentation of my material in the class at 06 a.m very morning right? hahaha .
Maybe among of you asking why i use paper media? nahhhh,, my lecturer said to make things creative and innovative. I happen to like to draw and make something beautiful so i use thid method in my presentation , so here it is, making something creative with something that i like :")
Before we enter to the material, there is a little ice breaking the conversation of Max and Liston so it is not monotonouns, check it out!
Morpheme
Morpheme is the smallest form of language that has meaning and speech in a language that investigates the form of words and their changes
1. Free Morpheme, can stand alone and can be called a word but without being bound by other morphmemes. free morpheme divided into 2 :
🎀 Lexical Morphemes
who can stand alone and can convey the message in clear words .
* Verb : Run, smile, sit, hit, etc.
* Noun : Mirror, chair, car, laptop, etc .
* Adj : Beautiful, Gorgeous, homeless, nice, etc.
🎀 Functional Morphemes
Who can stand alone and convey the messsage in words but it is not yet clear
* Conj : but
* Prep : At
* Artic : The
* Pronoun : She
2. Bound Morpheme, can't stand alone and must be bound to oyher morphemes
🌇 Derivational Morphemes
Morpheme which if bound to another morpheme will form a new word, it can be in front of and behind this usually called affix .
ex : beauty + "full" = Beautyfull
🌇 Inflectional Mophemes
is morpheme bound to other morphemes but not to produce new words by changing the previous lexeme.
ex : books (plural) => book (singular)

An inflectional morpheme is generally a bound morpheme which when added to the root or stem of a word does not result into a change in the grammatical category of that word. Grammatical category is nothing but the part of speech of that word. For the example book => books (book is noun and if us add "s" in the behind it will still be also noun , not changes . But in the derivational morpheme we make a example "beauty" is noun but if change be a "beautyful" is a adjectif so will be different . Noun be a adjectif . Ok i already answer your question, i hope you undrestand now . :))

Hapusseriously ? oh my oh my oh my. my project is not about morphology. but I think this question is the top of annoying question. sorry first sist,let me explain to you by my own uderstanding after I hear and learn a little about morphology. morpheme is part of morphology. if anjely doesn't entered that on her blog, I think you must get that information from another bloggers who learn about morphology. because, every blogger who learn about morphology, after they explain the meaning of morpholgy, they will explain about morpheme. for simple, In the science of morphology, there is morpheme which is the smallest part of a word. and for distinguish both, Morphology is applied science, while morpheme is the smallest part of a word (bound morpheme and free morpheme).

hy amel I will answer your question according to my thoughts, of course morphology has something to do with the language we use everyday. because every word has morpheme, a small example when we say "happy" is already using free mopheme and then you say "happyness" is already using bound morpheme without us knowing it. in morphology we study the ins and outs of language and changes in the form of words and their meanings so morphology is very influential in the language that we usually use.
